A Message from the Artistic Director

Dear Friends,

I’m thrilled to share the Chamber Chorale of Fredericksburg’s 38th season with you!

This year, we’ll explore joy in all its complexity, celebrate the holidays with one of the great works of the choral repertoire, and reflect on the many meanings of home. Along the way, we’ll collaborate with some wonderful musicians and ensembles and perform throughout the Fredericksburg community.

CCF invites skilled and passionate vocalists to join an ensemble defined by artistry, dedication, and collaboration. Membership offers the chance to perform challenging musical selections, refine your craft, and connect through shared purpose and choral excellence.

    CCF allows me to stay in the music world. It keeps me competitive, challenges me, and helps keep music alive in my life so I can share it with my children.

    Stephen has been a high school choral director, marching band and leadership instructor, and instructional technology coach.

  • Angella Barnes

    Soprano

    Angella, a lifelong music enthusiast, is noted for her ability to bring emotion in her vocal delivery across a wide range of styles.

    Nathan and his wife Rachel have five children, all of whom sing and have played various musical instruments over the years.

    Singing with these excellent singers and experiencing a wide variety of music brings me joy.

    Currently, John is a Master Electrician who owns and operates Irby Electrical Solutions as well as teaches Electricity at the CTE department in Stafford High School.

    It is a joy to sing with such a professional, talented group of musicians.

    Soprano

    Before joining the Chorale, Cheryl sang with the San Francisco Symphony Chorus and the San Antonio Symphony Chorus.

    I love to sing in this group so much, and get a lot of satisfaction musically and feel proud of the performances we present.

    Over the past decade, he has sung with Stafford Regional Choral Society and its outreach group, Soundcheck.

    Lisa owns LGN Collaborations, a business and nonprofit operations consulting firm, where she enjoys helping small companies get organized and run smoothly.

    She has a deep love for opera, musical theatre, and bluegrass music.

    Danny enjoys golf, reading, long walks with his pup, fulfilling his duties as horse show husband, and, of course, singing with the CCF!

    Being a part of this group allows me to grow as a vocalist. CCF requires a standard of commitment that other groups do not.

    Bonnie is originally from WI, but has lived in Fredericksburg for 18 years with her three amazing children Jamie, Christopher and Brody.

    Xavier is the Choir Director at T. Benton Gayle Middle School in Stafford, Virginia.

  • Jim Corrow

    Bass

    Jim has been singing with the Chamber Chorale of Fredericksburg since 2014, and has served as both Vice President and President of the organization.

  • Dwayne Miller

    Tenor

    Dwayne spends his “free time” as the Choir Director at Ebenezer United Methodist Church in Stafford and enjoys singing with his wife, Amy.

  • Christine Rushmore

    Soprano

    Christine is the Choral Director at T. Benton Gayle Middle School in Stafford, where she teaches 6th‑8th grade choirs.

    Alto

    This is my muscial outlet! I love getting to make music with all of the wonderful people of CCF.

    Evan has served as a teacher, musical director, arranger, and performer with school and community ensembles throughout the state.

  • Ed Rodriguez

    Ed has been singing most of his life, starting in church when he was 8.

  • Amy Miller

    Soprano

    In addition to singing with her husband, Dwayne, Amy enjoys her family, running, and travel.

  • Jeremy Vaughn

    Tenor

    Jeremy holds a B.A. in Music and is an instrumentalist who has performed with numerous orchestras and wind ensembles across the Fredericksburg region.

    Alto

    Shannon sang with CCF over 6 years ago and is excited to be joining the Chamber Chorale for this season.

  • Bonita Keene

    Alto

    Bonita currently serves as an adjunct professor at the University of Mary Washington, where she teaches private voice lessons as well as Class Voice I and II.

  • Logan Fellenstein

    Alto

    Logan is currently the director of the orchestra program at Drew Middle School in Stafford, VA.

  • Ken Wayne

    Tenor

    Ken is currently the drama teacher at Culpeper Middle School and is finishing his thesis for a Master's degree in Theatre directing from Roosevelt University.
